Welcome to the Varanasi Two Days Tour, an immersive journey into the ancient city of Varanasi, also known as Kashi or Banaras. Over two days, you will experience the vibrant culture, spirituality, and history that make this city one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in India.

Day 1: Varanasi Sightseeing

Your tour will begin with a pick-up from the airport, railway station or hotel in Varanasi. From there, you will head straight to the ghats of the Ganges river, the heart and soul of Varanasi. Here, you will witness the morning rituals of the local people, including bathing in the river, offering prayers, and performing puja (rituals).

After breakfast, you will visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most important temples in India dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located in the heart of the old city and is believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (lingams of light) of Lord Shiva. Your guide will provide insights into the history and significance of the temple and the various rituals performed here.

Next, you will visit the Bharat Mata Temple, a unique temple dedicated to Mother India, and the Durga Temple, a temple dedicated to the goddess Durga. You will also explore the narrow lanes and bustling bazaars of the old city, a vibrant hub of commerce and culture.

In the evening, you will witness the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremony, a Hindu ritual of worship in which light from wicks soaked in ghee is offered to deities. The ceremony takes place on the banks of the Ganges river and involves a group of priests chanting hymns and waving lighted lamps in a synchronized manner.


  • A representative will pick you up from the railway station or airport and escort you to a pre-booked hotel.
  • By evening, you will be escorted to Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the foremost attraction of Varanasi, Ganga Aarti.
  • Priests gather near the ghat and perform synced rituals. By the end of the ceremony, thousands of people watching the ritual from the banks of the river place a small oil lamp on a leaf and let it float on the river.
  • You will be able to find thousands of such lamps floating on the river, which will look like the sky with burning stars.
  • Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 2: Sarnath Sightseeing

After breakfast, you will head out to Sarnath, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. It is here where Gautama Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. You will visit the Dhamek Stupa, a massive structure built by Emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BCE, as well as the Sarnath Museum, which houses a rich collection of Buddhist artefacts and sculptures.

On your return journey to Varanasi, you will visit the Ramnagar Fort, a magnificent palace built in the 18th century by the rulers of Varanasi. The fort is located on the banks of the Ganges river and provides stunning views of the river and the city.


  • Early morning, after food, You will be taken on a road trip to Sarnath(15 km).
  • The trip will include, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Ji Darshan, Vishwanath Corridor, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University, and Sankat Mochan Temple.
  • Overnight stay in Varanasi.

Day 3: Checkout

This will be the checkout day. Your tour will end with a drop-off at the airport, railway station or hotel in Varanasi, with memories and experiences that will stay with you for a lifetime.
